Debt @ LBM (23/12/07) £9,826.34. DFD Mar 2013 - 61 to go. Debt 01/02/08 £10,210.66.
Debt 29/02/08 £10,057.46. Progress £153.200 -
Just realised the Progress £153.20 above makes very little sense on its own. It means the total debt is £163.20 less than this time last month, but my sig space is at full capacity so theres no room to explain, or leave last months figure to make it self explanatory.
Anyway I have now updated my sig with todays grocery spends. Just over £50 in Tesco (I went round adding it up on my phone and spent ages finding something to fill the last £4 to get the petrol voucher as what I needed came to £46). Also about £2.50 on BOGOF shower gel in Superdrug as Im a bit fussy about that.
I got the kids some pjs in Tesco too as its getting rather urgent that they get new ones, and I can never find pjs second hand. Anyway 2 x 2 packs for DS = £9 and 1 x 2 pack for DD = £4 and she has two pairs of hand-me-downs waiting for her when the weather warms up.
Also got DS and DD a bag each in a charity shop for £2. they were on a hanger together with a £1 tag visible, when I got to the counter they said it shouldnt have been tagged together, so charged me £2. When I got outside I realised the other bag had a £1.50 tag on so it was still a bargain.
So a rather hefty spending day today but apart from a 55p birthday card, its all budgeted for.0 -
Just had to amend my snowball. For a start I forgot to account for £10 I took out in cash yesterday (had it in my head that Fridays activitiy would go through the account on Mon, but of course cash is instant).
Then realised I hadnt changed the interest rate on my CC since I made the eff up with the interest charge taking it over the limit. Just the simple act of changing it from 8% to 16% had added 3 months on so we're back to 61 (Mar '13) again! Its also changed the order of the snowballing.0 -
Going to be an expensive day today. Its the first NCT sale of the season today. So I shall go to and bag some bargains.
Unfortunately Im not selling because DH was due to be working this w/e, and also the kids have a birthday party this afternoon which I wouldnt be back in time for otherwise.
At least the party costs are covered, I will take a present from my stock, still have tag and wrapping paper from previously, and the card was bought yesterday.0 -
£31 of much needed clothes for the kids - a whole binbag full! Hopefully that'll tide them over for a bit. Its mostly for the boy, but he was more urgently in need, the girl will have to wear some more hand-me-downs.0

Clothes add up dont they and growth spurts just when you dont need them!:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0

tell me about it. I think both kids have been on a permanent growth spurt for the last 6 months. Thankfully DS' clothes will (should) fit him for a year so he should be pretty much sorted now, on the basis that he will soon be wearing a uniform for a large part of the week, so he needs less clothes. As for DD, well she seems to need twice as much. girls are so expensive.0

Just done a bit more money juggling to cover all the DD's which come out in the next couple of days. That leaves us about £45 to live on til the TC payment on Thursday, but £31 of that is the chq to pay for the clothes yesterday, not sure when that will clear though, Im thinking not before Thursday.
Also DH has to pay for a part for his mbike which should be £18 tomorrow. If we can manage then it leaves the mortgage allocation and the spare OD untouched which will be fab, if not then we're back to robbing Peter to pay Paul, but at least we know we can pay it straight back.0 -
Almost a NSD for me. DH nipped to Tesco to get mozarella so we could have pizza for lunch. Bit naughty having a dinner for lunch but we werent hungry this evening so compensated with just beans on toast for dinner. Anyway he bought a couple for treats for me as well so that was an extra quid and some brownie points earned.
We went out this afternoon for a walk along the river and to see the horses, geese etc. Cost about £3.50 in petrol but otherwise free entertainment.
Just realised we got petrol today - a tankful and saved £2.50 using the petrol voucher. Pity that petrol has gone up 2p this weekend!0 -
Just had to transfer another £50 to cover the petrol. Unfortunately had to raid the mortgage fund for it but I can pay it back on Friday. As its a months worth of petrol (hopefully) it shouldn't be a problem.
DH has gone into work a bit earlier and hasnt been told a finishing time today so you never know there may be an extra hour or two of work / pay. We shall see.0 / £155 £5 a day in March
The big fat £0 keeps staring at me so going to try and do something about that today. I might go on a mission to sign up for loads of cashback / bingo / survey etc. websites whilst DD has her nap.
Aiming for a NSD today. toddler group this morning and park this afternoon.0
