In response to the cry for a shiny new thread for 2026, its time to start listing our chazzer finds!
Last year I took a 3-month detox until the end of March, which I thought would have cured me of my lust for a bargain....but I fear I more than made up for it in the following 9 months of the year! So I now find myself drowning in stuff and am aiming to give a lot away before I make any more investments. Buy it, love it and then let someone else enjoy it...just don't forget to share the love (with pics if possible) with fellow OSers.

I have had a big declutter the past few days and my husband is taking the donation bag today.
I'm sure I will still find a few bargains throughout the year around here as there are so many lovely chazzers.
I still want to try that boot sale at Leigh railway station as the only time I went there it wasn't on! 11 -
Thanks for organising us @Rosa_Damascena, I was worried about finding you all again!
Happy New Year. Had a lovely browse in my local lovely market town today. Very busy, but not loads of stock. However, that didn't deter me. Finds were:
- a Pair of Fat Face trouser bottoms BNWT. £10, label says would be £32 new. Really lovely and currently wearing them.
- A green boucle-style Fat Face coat. £15, looks unworn.
- Two Decathlon vest tops to run into the ground (£3 each)
- A soft pair of Vero Moda joggers/pajama bottoms for £3
- A lovely oversized tunic top from OttoD'Ame - a fancy Italian brand that I come across oddly often ...
- A Nike sports bag for a fiver
I know my NY resolution should be to spend less in charity shops, but I love it too much! I'd say 90% of my wardrobe is now secondhand, and I couldn't be happier. Good luck for 2026, hunters!10 -
Yay... back to normal... hurrah!
2 buys today from the Thirsk chazza shops, a pack of 2 correction fluid thingies from the 50p table and a b/n J Crew cable knit maxi skirt in ivory for £6, (RRP £69). The skirt was 2 sizes too big but I managed to butcher the elastic waistband to make it fit 😁

A bit of useless info for you......the correction fluid is known in the US and Canada as "liquid paper" and was invented by the mother of Mike Nesmith of The Monkees when she was working as a secretary in the 1950s.Miró said:Yay... back to normal... hurrah!

Happy New Year all and thank you for the shiny new thread @Rosa_Damascena.
I spent far too much in CS last year so am going to have a no spend January (just to make the longest and grimmest month even worse!)
However I managed to find this black stretchy velvet dress with detachable fur collar, just before the end of the year. It cost £20 but I love it.So I shall spend January swooning over your bargains (and sally forth to the CS with replenished coffers in February.

@Potternerd Lovely elegant black velvet dress 😍
Picked up a couple of things from chazza shops in Ripon today. An M&S Collection grey cashmere sweater with Swarovski crystals at the neckline. A bit spendy at £15 but was £99 originally and is in excellent condition (was carefully checked for any moth damage!). Also got a repair system for touching up scratched/chipped wood £1.95..... no more relying on felt tip pens now😁

Well yesterday I got a little derailed from my attempt at chaz-abstention and bought one of these for £4. With the addition of 3 AA batteries, it looks stunning hanging up with my wind chime! I won't be saving it for next Christmas.

And a waffle maker - am looking to make HM potato / bubble & squeak waffles at some point this year
