As pointed out previously this ls not a Consumer Wants board. Pray tell what Consumer Right is applicable that says you must get what you order?I would imagine the answer is to complain to McDonalds central customer services:
https://www.mcdonalds.com/gb/en-gb/help/faq/what-s-the-address-and-phone-number-for-mcdonald-s-head-office-address.html
No idea what their expectation is but if the machines are programmed without a limit then you should get what you order IMO and I wonder if the franchise owner would rather cut costs where as McDonalds might expect the customer to get what they ordered.
I guess there should be a limit but 1 per order is tight, again in IMO.2 -
What breakfast goes with BBQ sauce? I'm intrigued.0

Please don’t email them to complain that you’re not getting 7 free sauce pots. That would be seriously embarrassing.3

No idea, can only go on the what the OP says really but if I want a large fries and wish to dip half in ketchup and half in BBQ sauce I don’t think that’s unreasonable either. (7 for a single item would be).Grumpy_chap said:
Is it truly "1 sauce per order" as suggested by the OP?

Is it more realistically "1 sauce per qualifying item (chicken nuggets?)"?
The franchises are allowed to charge for dips (other than dips with the meal items that come with a dip), so if they if they are that bothered they could charge. In terms of the general idea, brands like McDonalds, despite what they sell, care about the customer experience, one reason they are so successful is consistency, you go to a McDonalds and you know what you are going to get, it’s not the best in the world but it won’t be a disappointment.Pragmatically for OP if they love the sauce that much just ask the manager how much to buy a case of it.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
A great many supermarkets have got that much BBQ sauce that they are selling it to the public.1

Well, I think that is kind of what I said:

Is this a case where being sensible and friendly could work wonders?
Order one portion of chicken nuggets with two sauce and a bit of charm at the counter will probably get two sauces.
Ask nicely and be polite and flattering and two sauces is probably easy to secure.
In fact, even two sauces requested on the kiosk would probably be honoured.
I know I have been in McDonalds and given sauces back at the counter when they provide me more than I need.
Ask for a whole handful of sauces and you probably meet the force of the rules.0 -

The outlet has clearly sussed the OP and decided that's all they are getting, most folk will probably get a couple if they ask nicely.0
