Permission Problem

I had 14 comments to a discussion I started at at the beginning of October 2025. When I click to read these I got a pop up screen which states Permission Problem. You don't have permission to do that. I am logged in OK, so cannot understand why I cannot see replied to my discussion. Any ideas please? Thanks. Have these been censored.

When looking at your profile I can see that you've started two threads, but only this one now shows up, so I can only guess that the previous one was removed by the forum team for some reason. I'm not sure but think that they may message or e-mail you when this happens to give you a reason so it might be worth looking back to see if you've missed anything.0

Any chance discussion could have veered off into political debate?1

politics normally gets the threads closed, rather than deleted, unless they are political from the OP. Stroppy comments are the most common for reason for getting a thread deleted. There have been a few in here recently.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Given what I managed to find on google I think it's a 100% guaranteed reason why it was deleted - looks like the OP was asking about suing the government for investment losses during Truss.masonic said:Any chance discussion could have veered off into political debate?3 -

Oh, it was that thread. I noticed that it had gone. IIRC, the posts started to become a bit troll-like too as the OP refused to accept they were no worse off.Notepad_Phil said:

No, it's not that - that thread from 2022 is still around. although the OP only commented on it today - it wasn;t started by them.Notepad_Phil said:

OP started a separate thread that was taken down.p00hsticks said:

The taken down thread was started by the OP in early October - if it is the thread that I believe it to be then the discussion title was along the lines of "Can a Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer and or a UK Government be sued" and is different from the 2022 thread which they did indeed add a comment to today.p00hsticks said:

Strange no one has started a thread asking how they can split their pension earnings with Blair, Brown, Cameron, May, Johnson et al...0
