If you are still in contract then you would need to pay the rest of your contract before leaving, unless you have another way of getting g out of your contract.

What advice, because this is showing as your only thread?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

There was another thread, no idea where it went. In that OP was told they could leave without penalty because of the April increases. However OP didn’t mention anything about a price increase they just wanted to move away from their sim only deal and go elsewhere for a new phone and contract. There was also nothing said about giving notice due to the price increase, if that was the case.

I would delete this, someone can use the number and pac code to transfer this number and take over your number
Good point, delete your quote and i'll report the original post

Cursory glance at that response from O2, says it's a business contract, it won't be covered by the same blanket consumer rights around this price hike and right to cancel (if such a hike applies to business customers too).

I have asked the forum team to remove the personal info from the OP urgently.

@saranam if this is a business account then it is unlikely you can just cancel without paying the £311.39 fee to pay off the rest of your contract.
