ASDA travel money cards (no bank account needed!)

I put 51 cash on it meaning i get 50 pound on the card and they charged me an extortion rate of 2%. They also asked for ID and said they will ask again when i top it up next time. But I wonder if someone ells with ID can top it up, if that will work? Still topped up with cash so no bank account needed. only problem is the high 2% fee and the ID required

If it's branded as Asda then I suspect you can only top up with them.

There where no T&C given to me when i bought the card at the kioss. infact the only T&Cs that apply are those of word and mouthHuman Rights Act 1998, Article 10"Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
