I’m really interested in hearing from homeowners about your experiences with quotes for heat pump installations. Specifically, I’d love to know how you feel about the proposals you receive after a site visit and heat loss survey has been done.

• Did the quotes feel clear and easy to understand?

• Were they presented in a way that helped you make a decision?

• Or did they feel confusing, incomplete, or a jumble of documents?

Any experiences (positive or negative) would be really valuable to hear. It doesn’t matter whether you went ahead with an installation or not - just what it felt like at the point of getting the proposal/quote.

Thank you for your reply! By way of context, I’m part of the team working on a web-based toolkit built for heat pump installers. It essentially speeds up their installations by simplifying property assessments, system design, heat loss calcs. We’re currently testing a new module that helps installers create clear, interactive proposals for homeowners. I would love homeowners perspectives on their experiences and thoughts on quotes they currently have received (post site visit) and what they like or how they could be improved, as this would help feed our product development!
