Hi All,
I'm replacing the tiles on my roof, like for like as they're getting quite worn. I'm also replacing the flat roof section of the roof and rebuilding the chimney.
I contacted my council and they advised that this wasn't a project that required building control approval as it was deemed like for like.
Does this sound correct?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds correct to me, but it’s probably worth contacting them by email as that gives you a paper trail. Well, it does if you print it! Anyway, always worth covering your back.0
