State pension forecast

Interestingly my state pension forecast statement doesn't seem to equate? Does anybody know why this is the case? I was expecting 230.25*52=£11,973

It's just my opinion and not advice.

Comments

  • It's £230.25 divided by 7 (daily amount) multiplied by 365.25 (for the leap year)

Everything except the £230.25 are nonsense figures anyway because you cannot receive the pension either monthly or annually.  Also what you would report on your self assessment is dependent on how many weeks pay days there are in any given tax year.
