ARC legal

I was recently made redundant and informed my insurance company in Feb 2025 who put me in touch with their legal section ARC legal. When through all the form filling and got a message from them on the 4th of June that they could now now provide legal cover as the policy was started a 25.02.25 and I was notified about redundancies on the 17.02.25. It has taken them over 3 moths to find the get out clause and has lead me to miss crucial deadlines for employment tribunal. Incompetence at its best with their legal advisers as they do not know employment law and were first asking me to jump the ACAS process. Do not use this company for employment disputes, as they do not have the sense or knowledge.

You cannot obtain insurance after the event. What led you to believe you that you could? It's paramount to fraud. Probably a secondary review detected your attempt. I wouldn't complain too loudly as a consequence.2

This is the second post in a matter of days where someone has prominently named a company and complained about their actions and how they were inconvenienced when it was actually the poster who was in the wrong .Hoenir said:You cannot obtain insurance after the event. Probably far more than that however there is an argument that it should have been an instant decline but in reality LE providers will look at potentially covering "pre-existing" claims in certain circumstances and is probably why it wasnt immediately declined. If this had been car insurance or such then it would have been declined on the first call.lincroft1710 said:
