A big word of warning about this brand. They have three actual operating companies with whom you might actually contract with, none called Honey Legal. Two are unregulated, a third merely by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, not the FCA or any probate or will writing authorities. A MASSSIVE red flag to me. Good luck if something goes wrong!

Is that a bit like moving something to the bin?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

They don't seem to be just will writing but also inheritance planning and other services, such as trusts, LPA etc.

I don't think it's unusual for these to be done by different parts of a group. You'd want the inheritance planning being done by the tax and finance people but you would not want them doing your will or LPA.

This sort of arrangement is pretty common. For example, with insurance the claim handling could well be done by a different company to the administration and to the underwriting. You might be helped to make a claim by the broker who sold it to you and different parts of the cover might have different insurers.
