I read about the further problems with ex on the daily thread and totally agree with the advice to ignore her completely. I had problems with my ex and tried to stay civil but it just got to a point that he was becoming almost as much of a problem as he was when we were together. About a month of ignoring all calls and texts and they became less frequent and stopped completely after a few months. Good luck.

Morning all. The weekend has been fantastic and heartbreaking in many ways.

First off, on the Friday night, the ex went schizo, mailing 'something' to the lass' work, we'll find out what that is today. Cue much worry from the lass and a tearful, downcast and quite frankly miserable phone call at 1am for an hour or so.

Then on Saturday, all worries disappeared when we met up and went to see Arsenal v Birmingham, she did her usual curse of only seeing a 1-1 draw and we came home and just cuddled up on the sofa watching DVD's.

Sunday was a VERY lazy day, with much bed and the only two trips out, a pub lunch and a trip to the police station.

My expenditure over all of this was about £50, on travel, takeaways and random food. Not bad! To be honest, if she didn't have work on Saturday morning, then it would have had £12 less. :(

Sounds like a good weekend, aside from the ex :( Why can't we just delete them when we're done with them?

    Yeah. Deletion would rock!

    Today was a NSD.

Apart from today's early incident, I did very little on the first day off of my holiday! Just relaxed and played Football Manager, really.

Yesterday, I spent £3.34 on bread, milk and biscuits.

I also helped out a friend by letting her have my spare room for two months as she's quit her job, managing a pub.

She will pay half. It's to cover my flatmate moving in with his girlfriend. So not much more cash! However, it does look like my friend will do most of the cooking! :D:D

Thanks for the encouragement! Usually I'd be boredom spending, but the last few days I've been so engrossed in writing my story and playing FM that I've kind of forgot about it!

Things are going well, she's coming up tonight after work, as we have the police visiting tomorrow morning! *crosses fingers*
