I've been up for 48 hours and when stripping my busted washing machine, I found shattered bearing parts all over the drum

Completely. Ripped apart a load of electrics too when it splintered. Would have cost at least £100 to repair.

Aww poor you. I ended the year having to buy 2 new tyres so that was a bummer too. Nice to see your new diary. x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

The belt recently went on our tumble drier, and I'm very chuffed to say we managed to fix it for £12.

I wish I hadn't... there's something really demoralising about seeing your washing machine in pieces and you can't do a thing.
And my 2008 is turning into a nightmare! My phone charger broke last night at work and I was switched from an easy line (list of posts to cover) to the busiest one going.
