Changing MSE account e mail

Hello,
could someone guide me through the steps to change my MSE login email, please? 

I can see my email address on the my accounts page, but not an option to change it. I’m moving my address away from Virgin before they close it down.

To change your email address go to your profile > Account & Privacy settings and if your email address has been confirmed there is a pencil icon by the side of your email address. You can then edit it.

The answer from @Dobbibill is spot on when it comes to the Forum, but I suspect you are asking about your MSE app / website / Credit Club login as distinct from the Forum.

I need to simply change the email address I use to log into the forum, In my account setting the 'pencil' option doesn't allow me to edit it, and unfortunately the link above no longer works. Please can you help - have rummaged for ages and am none the wiser :-:blush:
