Credit Authority request and response to date doesn't seem right

Options
Hi all,

As part of getting to the bottom of our debt challenges requested a Credit Authority from Lowell's for an O2 debt which they claim incorporates a number of 'accounts'.

To date they have supplied one Credit Authority which specifies an amount of approx. £1200 for a fixed sum loan for a single handset at the time the contract was opened.

They are claiming another five loans for other handsets fit under this one CA document - the document they have provided has nothing in its terms and conditions that other loans could be added to it or the amounts of the loan changed.

Earlier in this process they initially responded saying "on further review the CA we provided doesn't cover the other handset loans... we will investigate" before coming back with this response.

Any comments on whether this has popped up before for anyone would be helpful. As it currently stands they are claiming nearly £4000 but I only have a CA which specifies £1200 at the start of the contract... and no reference what so ever in terms of a Credit Authority for the other 4 fixed sum loans.

Am I correct that the the Consumer Credit Act says I'm entitled to a Credit Authority that either covers all of these handsets (at least) or one for each loan (they would have different start, end dates and amounts).

Thanks in advance.
