    I retired and now collect the TPS. It's as good as everyone else says. It's a very low-key process,
    You tell them when you want to retire, they will go into radio silence and never hear from them until on the first day of your retirement when the money-elves quietly stuff money into your bank account.
    You can't change your mind so you need to pick your retirement date very carefully. More so if you want to work part-time afterwards.
