Just got back from my local Lidl they had carrots and swede that was it.

15p for a Savoy cabbage
15p for 2kg all-rounder white potatoes

Waitrose has discounts on lots of organic veggies but just a measly 10p ! Why bother ?

Got carrots, all rounder potatoes & a swede for 15p each from tesco today. I might go back tomorrow to stock up on the swede & freeze it because it’s a favourite veg in my house.

It's not a discount, it's "new lower prices" - i.e. the price has been changed and will remain lower for at least 3 months.
