    If it's scrapped what do people think increases in the future should be based on that it isn't now?

    I think linking it / limiting it to worker’s average pay rise would make a great deal of sense.

    Remove the 2.5% "regardless" bit.

    So is that a vote for yes or no?
    How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

    It's irrelevant, they (whoever is in power) will claw it back by cutting NI and not increasing PA, thereby hitting those receiving the benefit of the triple lock.

    Agree CPI only.   But haven't both party leaders already said that they will honour the current triple lock?

    Possibly what the last few years have shown is that there may need to be a maxima as well as a minima placed upon it.
