    AIUI , LTA was not mentioned at all in the Labour Manifesto published yesterday, which seems a bit odd.
    Although I have not actually read it.
    Would you expect it to be mentioned if no changes are going to be made?


    As I understand it if it's in any party's manifesto, and that party has the majority, it is incumbent on them to action what they have proposed there at some point in the parliament (unless something big like Covid comes along).
    If it's not in the manifesto, they can say what they like before an election, but there is no onus on them to actually do what is verbally put forward
    Do you expect each party to include everything the media has written about, but that they're not planning to do, in their respective manifestos?

    Doesn't really matter what is in the manifesto; it's not a legally binding document, and those that get into power are never held to account for what they previously wrote.

    Yup loads of example of manifesto promises broken. Best not mention any otherwise it may start a political debate and the thread will be deleted.
