Is this for real or a spoof post?
I have been castigated numerous times on here for trying to objectively debate house prices and the specific board for "Debating House Prices and the Economy" was closed down.
With specific direction as follows:Please be aware of the message at the top of this page:Which takes us to here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/debate-house-prices-the-economy/Debate House Prices
Since the Forum relaunch, in order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding. So quite happy if the embargo has been lifted, to resume objective discussion but please ensure MSE Staff are all fully aware of previous site restrictions and advise forum members that this topic is open for full and frank discussion.

I own my home and I’d love to see house prices plummet so that other people can afford to buy a home as well. Why inflation in the price of a home is seen as a good thing has always been beyond me.2
