Dolly's Surviving to Thriving...............

  • All January debt repayments made - £1.081.25 in total which was a hard slog I'm not gonna lie.

Any money I get in between now and 31st January will go towards February totals and I'm hoping that I can pay this amount each month to be debt free by October!

Dogs went out with the dog walker so I blitzed my living room.

Kitchen and dining room started and I managed to unblock the bottom drawer in my bedside cabinet.

Feel like today has been productive!
    Well done 👏

  • Haha I know but  Bailey is named after the drink which was my Granny's fave and Luna is from Harry Potter - another of my absolute faves!

Great plan to pay that £1081 each month to be debt free by October.  That is a big chunk of money but just think what you can do with it once the debt is gone. 9 payments to go.

What season of Greys anatomy are you watching?

  • It's a massive amount but I am working my behind off to do it!

I cannot wait to be debt free - 9 payments to goooooooooo!

I'm on season 14 right now. I think the last time I watched up to maybe 15 - I'm bingeing it now then when I am done it's time to make a start on the ton of books I've got to read.

Also I joined a thread on here for people who have a stash of things to use up so we're aiming to use up before we buy more.

    I have a stash of;
    • Books
    • Toiletries
    • Stationary
    • Clothes
    • Shoes
    • Bags
I need to get a grip and stop buying more before I use the ones I have so I am gonna have a look and see exactly what I've got and make a start on using it all up.

  • Had a busy day today workwise and managed to get a lot done.

I've got a gas bill to pay and the car is getting an MOT on Wednesday so just waiting to see what the damage will be from that.

Once that's all sorted I'll be able to see where I am funds wise and start allocating towards February debt payments.

I defo don't think it will - she's a wee old lady of 13 now so she'll need something.

  • So she's dropped off for her MOT - straight away a fail cos I told the mechanic that the boot won't open.

Hopefully get it back today or tomorrow - if not I'm going to struggle with my dog walks Friday and over the weekend but we'll cross that bridge if and when we get to it!

Just about to have my first coffee of the day - been a mad rush about this morning.
