Managed to get through my list yesterday although OH is going to finish cleaning the flat today. Spends were £47.94 on food and toilet rolls. Made a batch of curry so we had that for tea last night, I'll take some to work for tea tonight and the rest has gone in the freezer for a future date, also made butternut squash soup so that is lunch for the week sorted.
Have added £7.06 to the LISA holding fund
On a double shift today which I'm not really in the mood for but it always goes quick enough and is extra pennies for the LISA.Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £14892.42/£15000 (99.3% saved). Emergency fund - £2000/£2500 (80% saved).1 -

Oops been ages again
Went away at the weekend to visit OH's mum and also visited some friends on the way back. Lovely weekend and all covered from the holiday fund.
Car has recently been for its MOT and passed but needed a bit of work done - tyres and brakes advisories so thought it was best to get them done and very glad I did with the weather being as it is. Also got a service at the same time as it hasn't had one for a while. Car insurance is due in the next few days, decided to stick with existing company as the renewal quite wasn't much more than last year and was similar price to elsewhere. Same with the breakdown renewal. Once the car insurance comes out, my car fund will have very little left in it so need to focus on building that back up. Road tax is due in April and everything else again in November so plenty of time.
And on to the very exciting news - my mum gave us a very generous gift of £1000 so it has been put into the LISA taking the total to £14,892.42 Have started having a look at what's out there but will continue to save while we find something that's right for us. We'd quite like somewhere in the area south of the city but it would have to be a bungalow or ground floor flat/lift access as OH struggles with stairs (would prefer a bungalow) and also somewhere with good transport links as OH can't drive and I don't want him to feel stuck in the house if I'm at work.
But of a later start today at work so have enjoyed a relaxing coffee and breakfast but I suppose I should really go and jump in the shower.Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £14892.42/£15000 (99.3% saved). Emergency fund - £2000/£2500 (80% saved).1 -

Thanks all
Car insurance has now been paid and I suddenly remembered that I needed to renew my parking permit. Unfortunately I could only renew it for 3 months as they have changed the process and you need to upload a copy of your v5c log book to be able to get a longer permit. I have looked everywhere for it and can't find it will need to get a new copy.
Been off work the past 2 days, got my eyebrows done yesterday (£18) and did a food shop (£47.63). Now only have £18.06 left in the food budget but not much month left so hopefully won't have to move any money over from savings. Actually, thinking about it, I have some expenses to claim back from work so I can use that if need be.
Pay slip is in so need to make a budget for next month. I'm thinking I will put a smaller amount into the LISA next month (have it set for £25 per week and usually make an extra payment on payday) so that there is more to go towards Christmas stuff. I do have £500 in Christmas savings for presents but some extra cash for social things and treats would be lovely. I've also got £77 in asd@ rewards which will pay for food

Just cashed out £5.89 from t0pcashback (from our hotel stay last week, very quick!) and added it to the LISA holding fund). It is now at £16.14. Got around £16 waiting to be confirmed in PA so hopefully that will be available to cash out in the next few days.Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid).
