Make do - pizza room freezer for dinner

Mend - nothing

Minimise - Found more to minimise! a decorative teapot, little trinket pot and lid, four China vases, four decorative glass bottles, five polystyrene rings used in crafts. They are collecting tomorrow, can’t wait

This tickled me. One man and his dog collected 90 bags of rubbish. Mark Fishpool then gave him a hard time for not filling the bags enough. Holy moly that’s a lot of rubbish.

Gosh that such a lot of rubbish why do people do that to our beautiful countryside. Makes me so cross, I drummed into both my daughters and all of my grandchildren to take rubbish home or put in a bin if possible. its not hard and the grandchildren seem to be really good at automatically doing it.
Makes you wonder what sort of houses they live in if they can just toss their rubbish away like that. What really grinds me is when you see supermarket trolleys just dumped as though its someone else's job to take them back.Sadly the free tokens seem to be a case of Oh its not going to cost me a pound its only a plastic open so I can just dump it in the street .Grrrn or even worse still in the river What ever happened to the Keep Britain Tidy campaign

Probably very tidy - because all their rubbish is dumped in laybys!

Was out trick or treating on our estate with grandaughter aged 6. She stopped and picked up an empty sweet packet and handed to me.

 There is only one bin on the estate and it's full. The developers have finished but the council haven't adopted the estate yet so nobody is responsible for emptying it. Since it seems to full of dog poo bags none of us want to empty it.

Keep Britain Tidy was a good campaign.

@annieb64 we have hardly any bins. The Wombles have paid for some but mostly they tie bin bags to lampposts and empty them themselves because the bin men don’t do it.

Minimise - 4 carrier bags newspapers to friend for her bunnies, 2 carrier bags of food to Foodbank, old laundry basket to recycling as broken, lots of general rubbish in recycling and other bin.

A late Hello to everyone today.  I will be reading everyone's posts as usual (part of my breakfast routine) but will not be posting for a while.  Sadly, my DH has lost his battle with cancer and I'm sure you will appreciate I have much to do over the coming days/weeks so my MMMing will be taking a temporary break.
