Partner's interest in property

Hello.
I am not sure of this is the right section as I couldn't find any more suitable on this forum and haven't used it in a while.
Can someone tell me if I am right thinking that if I own a property and my partner moves in with me, if they contribute to the bills (mainly mortgage) this can give a raise to them having a beneficial claim in the future, i.e. if we were to split up or simply move out and sell it?
Thank you.

Very possibly - the usual advice is to share utilities, food, council tax etc but not mortgage or home improvements...assuming you don't want them to have a claim1

Thank you. Is it just mortgage that could potentially raised that beneficial interest or other bills share of bills such as service charge or ground rent?

I'd share utilities and food only. i.e. things where you use more because there is another person.
Costs that are the same, I wouldn't share, so the mortgage, ground rent, service charge... plus any fixed improvements like a new bathroom, kitchen etc.0
