Err. My local council's online form rejected our attempt to claim. I am the father (in his seventies) and my disabled son (in his fifties, lives at home, needs our full time care (24x7) and meets one of your listed requirements) is "ineligible" for a council tax discount. The council's website lists the same "requirements" as per your list, We have queried this with the council but they seem unable to respond. Are we eligible in your view?0
