PV Production Curve

Options

This may or may not be of interest! Each year I'm fascinated how the PV production curve develops through the year and of course especially at this time of year when we see it improve quite dramatically.   For this graph I took maximum productions levels for each date since my install (Nov 2015) i.e. I'm trying to ascertain an estimate of what could maximum prediction be for each day of the year with perfect skies.   As the dates increase I've omitted figures for those dates where the maximum production is lower than that already achieved.   I've added a best fit curve (calculated by my spreadsheet software so don't ask me how) and as you can see the median peak production (not that it tells us much).   For my own amusement I may produce similar graphs for the rest of the year and if they are of interest I'll post them here.

Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.
Install 2: Sept 19, 600W SSE
Solax 6.3kWh battery

Will do.  What I have found already is that it's helped me to plan my electricity usage.  With a forecast for today and now an idea of what maximum output could be I've decided what appliances to run and when.

I'm just lazy and use PVoutput, I don't know how other brands integrate with the interface but have found Enphase to be great.
