Can't find SIM card needed to receive access code for filing tax return

I've just given up trying to find this SIM card (which I know is still active) after changing my mobile number. I'd like to see what this other option is but it fails to inform me if it's only a postal solution (so missing tomorrow's deadline) . Even worse, it fails to inform at what point my current method becomes void. I haven't tapped the link below because that might trigger the voiding immediately, which would be incredibly annoying if the SIM card turns up in the next 24-hours!

I have come across this before quite a few years ago (not for me) and I believe the matter was resolved by telephone with HMRC. I don’t fancy your chances at getting through to them tomorrow though. I was on hold for 30 minutes this morning at 8am using the agent’s telephone number - never experienced such a delay and dread to think how long non-agents can wait.
