I've been following your other thread. There's not much more that can be done, if you've killed the claim then the investigation will cease, a record of the claim may remain on your policy.
Whatever the reason for cancelling the claim, learn the lesson from it, if it had went any further and you were found to be in the wrong it could have caused problems. Possibly a case of it's never too late to do the right thing.
Are you referring to claim as a complaint about missale (as this is what this section is about) or a claim about an accident or incident? (in which case you need the insurance section).
