TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Who’s on the Magic Homerun Sofa – Oak Furnitureland” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	This competition is running across the Magic Radio Network. There will be 5 voucher winners, one of which will also win an overnight spa break.   To enter the prize draw, entrants must successfully identify which celebrity is on the “Magic Homerun sofa” that correlate to the below competition dates and enter their contact details on the webpage mentioned in 2.0. Successful entrant(s) will be chosen from this list of entries.   Entrants will be chosen from all the valid, successful entries by electronic random draw on: Monday’s Celebrity: Monday 3rd October 2022 at 12:00 (noon) for entrants playing on Monday 3rd October 2022. Tuesday’s Celebrity: Tuesday 4th October 2022 at 12:00 (noon) for entrants playing on Tuesday 4th October 2022. Wednesday’s Celebrity: Wednesday 5th October 2022 at 12:00 (noon) for entrants playing on Wednesday 5th October 2022. Thursday’s Celebrity: Thursday 6th October 2022 at 12:00 (noon) for entrants playing on Thursday 6th October 2022. Friday’s Celebrity: Friday 7th October 2022 at 12:00 (noon) for entrants playing on Friday 7th October 2022.   The successful entrants(s) & winner(s) information should match the information entered online when they are contacted. If the details do not match, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be drawn.   From Monday 3rd October 2022 to Friday 7th October 2022, 1 entrant will be brought to air each day (total of 5 from Monday to Friday) during the Magic Radio Homerun show 16:00 – 19:00 to identify who was on that days “Homerun Sofa”. Each day, the first entrant who correctly identifies the celebrity will win £1,000 store credit to spend at Oak Furnitureland. On Friday 16th September 2022, the final winner will also win an Overnight Spa Break.   Entrant(s) will be contacted and brought to air to play Who’s on the Magic Homerun Sofa. If Bauer Media cannot contact the entrant, they will forfeit their chance to win the prize and be disqualified – the next entrant in line will then play. This process will be repeated until we have spoken to and confirmed an entrant / winner.   Entrant(s) will be contacted via phone. If the entrant(s) does not answer, a new entrant will be contacted.
2.ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS	Registration is restricted to one per person The only way to be included on the shortlist for a chance to win, is to register online at: https://planetradio.co.uk/absolute-radio/competitions/ Online entry is free.
3. ENTRY DATES	Start Date and End Date. Entry dates: From Wednesday 28th September 2022 at 00.01am (“Start Date”) to Friday 7th October 2022 at 12:00pm (noon) (“End Date”). Competition dates: From Monday 3rd October 2022 (“Start Date”) to Friday 7thOctober 2022 at (“End Date”) between 16:00pm and 19:00pm   Due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we paused this competition. Entries from previous entrants who applied to this competition previously between Wednesday 7th September 2022 and Thursday 15th September 2022 are still valid and will be included in the randomly electronic draws.   Entries received before the Entry Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.  One entry per person. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider. Any such entries will be void. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Specific Terms. If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. 5. THE PRIZE	From Monday to Friday, a total of 5 winners (1 per day) will each win: £1,000 to spend at Oak Furnitureland.    On Friday, the final winner will also win an Overnight Spa Break containing: £100 travel allowance 1 night luxury spa hotel accommodation in a suite in West Sussex  Breakfast OR brunch at one of the on-site restaurants Full use of the spa throughout stay 60-minute mud experience for two Dinner at the on-site restaurant (£42 food spend each) Winner management Travel prizes in UK and abroad protected- Element London ATOL 10207/ABTA Y2441   Oak Furnitureland £1,000 Terms & Conditions: A representative from Oak Furnitureland will contact the winner within 7 days of the competition result being announced to confirm the Oak Furnitureland Prize and confirm the most convenient way to redeem the Oak Furnitureland  Prize. The Oak Furnitureland Prize winner will have 3 months from the date on which the Oak Furnitureland representative makes contact with them to place and order and redeem the Prize.  The Oak Furnitureland Prize will be redeemable by telephone. The winner will be provided with contact details for an Oak Furnitureland representative who will support and place the relevant order.  The Oak Furnitureland Prize must be redeemed against one single order. The winner may not hold over any unspent amounts and apply them against future orders. If the winner spends over £1000 on the relevant order, the winner will be responsible for paying any additional amounts. The Oak Furnitureland Prize cannot be transferred to another party and there is no cash alternative. The Oak Furnitureland Prize can be redeemed against any available Oak Furnitureland products and against the cost of any delivery of furniture, wax and care products. The Oak Furnitureland Prize cannot be used in conjunction with third party consumer finance. The winner will be advised of delivery options at the point of redeeming the Oak Furnitureland Prize. Delivery time frames agreed may vary depending on product availability.   The winner of the Oak Furnitureland Prize will be responsible for ensuring that someone is present to take delivery of any products ordered on the delivery dates agreed. The winner is solely responsible for ensuring that any products ordered fit in their chosen location, and entryways are suitable to accept delivery at their property.   Overnight Spa Break Terms & Conditions: The Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary.  At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; Anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel.  Travel expenses are included up to the total value of £100 (or £50 per person), which can be spent on petrol/parking, internal flights, or travel by public transport. A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation.  Hotel accommodation is based on two adults sharing one double room. Hotel accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion. Hotel accommodation for the Recipients does not include any meals (other than those specified), incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients. A credit card for incidentals will be requested by the hotel at check-in and therefore at least one of the Recipients must possess and travel with a valid credit card; the prize excludes meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package.  All elements of the prize are subject to availability.  If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion.  Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure.  All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash alternative is available.  The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday.  Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time.  Winner and guest provided with breakfast or brunch and dinner (to the value of £42 per person) at the on-site restaurant during stay.  Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel.  The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/   The £1,000 Prize is provided by Oak Furnitureland we are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery. The Spa Break Prize is provided by Element London we are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.   Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. If you have, your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS. 
   1. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

   3. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject. 
   4. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.
   5. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. 
   6. You are responsible for all costs of entry. 
   7. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.
   8. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
