Well done on your first NSD of the year and for spending the time sorting out the balance transfers. You seem really determined and have made a really good start to 2022.
Happy and healthy new year to you and your family.

Thank you Honeysuckle and edwink.
Small spend today as the bread DH bought Thursday has gone mouldy so another loaf, corned beef for d2, bonjela for DH who has been up most of the night with toothache and painkillers weren't helping and ear tweezers for the dog as I can't find them anywhere.
DH is just cooking a pork dinner and then going to try an early night as was laid awake for most of last night.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Evening. Just a quick post as waiting for dinner. DH has had an email to say one of the BTs has gone through, will check the other tomorrow and sort out the last little bit that needs moving.
Been sorting the girls room again today and DH has been putting together some of her furniture (had since November) and decided he deserved a takeaway. I've put my foot down and wedges and Kiev is in the oven.
So today is NSD2.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Today I've checked the cards and it looks like both BTs are going through.
I've cashed out £92 from cashback site (I usually do this week before Christmas but forgot).
Tomorrow I need to start helping DS1 find a job. He left college in June and only emerges from his room a few times a day for food and I'd making no effort to look himself as he doesn't know what he wants to do. I think it's time to give him a push though.
Avoided takeaway again today, DH tried making the kids ask me but they ended up with sausage and chips instead.

Interesting about bread . 🥖
I always put that ( and chocolate 🍫) in the fridge . Lasts a lot longer I find .You're showing great determination . Keep it up !2 -
Thanks AC, I've never thought about putting bread in the fridge but the pantry is really cold at the minute, we've had problems with Mr T bread going mouldy quick before. But chocolate! That causes a huge debate here, mine goes in the fridge, nice and crunchy, DH almost melts his, when we had the reptiles he would leave his chocolate to warm on top of the vivs.
Not much to post today but want to get back into the habit of posting daily. We haven't left the house today. I checked the bank accounts but that's it.

Can I be even more controversial and say the fridge is not for either bread or chocolate?!
Bread actually goes stale more quickly in the fridge. If going off is a problem, keep it in the freezer. I have to confess, I hate bought bread anyway. We make all our own except occasionally if we find a 'real' baker.
As for chocolate, I'm with your husband. Chilling food means we don't get the flavour as well, so room temperature it is. Even ice cream tastes best just below melting point.
Feel free to disagree however, chocolate is a very personal thing!1 -
Thank you for posting still_hopeful. Normally bread isn't to much of a problem as when all the kids are at school we can go through a loaf a day. But I'm like you, it's very rare I eat bread unless it's really really fresh or a bakery loaf. I've never tried to make bread though.
My DH has always said mcD copied him with the flurry, even before we moved in here 20 years ago he would melt his ice cream and mix whatever chocolate he had into it, he should have trademarked it back then 🤣
Today has been very quiet. I only slept for 4 hours at most last night worrying about something I cant do anything about until I actually ring the doctors (picking up the phone snd making an appointment is the problem) and then received a letter about Ds2 pip so my anxiety was high. Managed half hour on the sofa but still really tired.
DH spent £24 on shopping this morning and I ordered things to make MIL birthday present, £23 was supposed to be being delivered this afternoon but it's been delivered but definitely not here so I've contacted seller.
I've paid off next, £38 to laybuy and DD2 dance lessons so definitely not another NSD.
Well I've ran out of hot chocolate so going to try to sleep.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Hope you got some sleep, it's awful when you're lying awake worrying about something.4
