Cabot

So well over 6 years ago I had a AA credit card and got into difficulties and stopped paying it I have moved twice since then and this last few weeks I have been getting letters from Cabot asking for payment for the amount really worried that they will take me to court what do I do it’s effecting my mental health now

    As for your debt, if you have not paid, or acknowledged it in writing for more than 6 years, its most likely to be statute barred by now, are you sure of your dates ?

    If you are, then send Cabot the statute barred letter, if your unsure of your dates, then send the "provit" letter instead.

    You must be certain of your position, as the former letter admits the debt, wear as the latter one does not.

    Sorry not used to posting on here but I will send a prove it letter then if it’s proven by them over 6 years can I send a statute barred letter?
