Lender saying they didn't know about gifted deposit

So I'm nearing exchanging, all going well. Until sol emails to say lender had no idea some of my deposit is gifted (£2000 of £11500 from my mum). I'm not entirely sure how this has happened because my mum sent a form to my broker and they have then sent it to TSB. Now TSB are asking for another letter from my mum plus solicitor wants her to fill out a form (not sure what this form is). My mum is fretting! I've sent all my mum's statements to my broker etc. So I don't know why they said they've no idea of it. Now im worried to death they're going to withdraw my offer
what are the chances? Is it wise to contact TSB myself and just see where on earth my mums statements and letter are if they've not received them?

The solicitor handles the money laundering checks etc on behalf of the lender (who is their client). This will only be performed at the appropriate time.0

I would talk to your broker first.Regarding your solicitor, you should have been asked to disclose the source of your deposit before now, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to them assuming you did give them the correct answer when they asked...0

Hi yes I've done all that quite early on. My mum wrote sol a letter and also I sent my mum's statements to them. She just emailed today to say lender was not aware of a gifted deposit. But lender was sent everything by broker??MWT said:I would talk to your broker first.Regarding your solicitor, you should have been asked to disclose the source of your deposit before now, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to them assuming you did give them the correct answer when they asked...
I've emailed my broker just waiting to here back. In the meantime my sol has re-sent the letter to the lender written by my mum0 -

If TSB have asked for a gifted deposit form it sounds like they are ok with the gift.

Leave this for your broker to sort which they can do swiftly. Don’t start making calls and sending emails to the lender or the solicitor.I am a Mortgage Broker
