I'm frustrated - Help me please.

For some strange reason, I cannot register for loaded/nuts, and now What's On TV. :mad:

Whenever I try, it rejects my e-mail address as being invailid. Without wanting to broadcast the e-mail, it's a disposable address from BT-Yahoo that I use for all my comping. It's a legit address, and it works.

Does anyone know why they might be rejecting it?

Sorry I've no Idea?! I can't register with Empire (Or i have already) and when I try to sign up, it says my Email address is already registered with them, and when I click FORGOT PASSWORD, they say they have no record of my email addy.

Some sites are squiffy

Are you sure it is the e-mail address which is invalid? Could it be the password?

I only ask because I often fall foul of Whats on TV and Nuts as they demand a longer password than other sites. I think you have to have 8 characters. Perhaps your password for these sites is different to others?

Definitely the e-mail. I've made sure I'm using an 8 character password.

My disposable address from BT Yahoo works on these sites but has stopped working on Student Zone comps??? and for that i have reverted to one of my regular addys that i don't use much.

I think its just one of those things.

I've given up on Loaded, Nuts and Hello as I can't seem to be able to get on, and their Forgotten Password button doesn't work either..... :mad:

Loaded, Nuts, Hello, Empire and Zoo often cause me probs, but perseverance usually gets me there - by refreshing, retrying, etc.

Often more than ten times!

I suppose it depends on how much you want the prize and your patience, given how many other comps are out there!

Many websites won't accept Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo etc. As they are free to obtain.
Try using the email address you have to log into your broadband,,,,I often have to use my NTLworld one because of this problem.

I use a yahoo email address and have sucessfully registered with all the sites mentioned here.

There was a period that I wasn't able to log on though. I discovered that I had been copying and pasting my email address with spaces at the end of the address. Some sites regard a space as a character, once I had got rid of the space I had no problems logging in again.
