Capquest home visit threat - please advise

A letter dated 7 Dec 20 arrived a couple of days ago - long after 7 Dec - by signed-for post. I didn't sign for it: it was put through the letterbox as normal. The letter refers to a debt which is genuine and one that I was gradually paying off in small instalments: I had to pause payments a while ago due to circumstances. Capquest are threatening to send 'Resolvecall' round if they do not hear from me by 21 Dec (today). Has anyone reading this had a similar experience with these lovely people? I'm assuming that Resolvecall has no actual legal powers whatsoever and that it's just a very nasty threat designed to scare me. Thanks for any advice with this.

Only people that should be coming round are bailiffs by order of a court. After a ccj is issued and you still don't pay.1

Ah my olde pals resolvecall, they get mentioned a lot on here, there just self employed collectors, only a court has legal powers, so nothing to bother yourself with, bailiffs are not currently entering premises, and I don’t think mr debt collector will want to either.
Don't answer the door, tell them to buzz off through the letterbox, look on YouTube, lots of vids on there that show resolvecall scurrying away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Highley unlikely cap quest will do anything fast as from my experience with them you would need to phone them at least 100 times to get an email or a letter.0
