Will Internet !!!!!! affect mortgage?

I’ve posted on here previously about how I’ll be looking for a mortgage shortly. In the meantime I’ve been researching ways in which I can help a mortgage application and ways that can hinder it. All seemed well until I read about Internet !!!!!!. Now I’ll hold my hands up and admit I have payed for Internet !!!!!! in the last few months, I was drink and at a low point so I paid £50 to chat to someone on webcam on my credit card and then paid it off straight away.

Will this affect my application?

One £50 payment on your credit card should not have any impact on a mortgage application.

Phew! Would the lender look at my entire list of credit card statements where everything is itemised or would they just see that it’s paid off every month?

Generally speaking, lenders rarely ever need to see cc statements.

It's doubtful that a one off payment will cause a problem, as it's not an ongoing expense and likely £50 won't cause any problems with affordability.

As K_S says, I've applied for multiple mortgages over the years, and have never been asked for CC statements. It's clear that the balance is paid in full by your credit report, which the lender will be able to see in full.

I have never heard about that being a problem - never.
Your spare money is your spare money, you can spend it on whatever you like. Besides, if you spent it on a credit card and then paid off the credit card, it would not even get picked up.

I thought these kind of transactions were normally discreet.
