Amigo loans success...

Well I finally got my final response from amigo yesterday stating that from my original loan of £1k with top up to £2.5k are not being upheld but the two further top ups to £5k (Feb 2017) and up to £10k (Dec 2019) are being upheld and all interest will be refunded above the principle amount plus standard interest of 8%. The loan was paid off in April 2019 thanks to some inheritance and since then I have cleared all of my debt so this is going to be welcome for me.
I now just have to wait on the redress offer to find out the amount. Is anyone clever enough to work out what I might expect?
£5k loan - Feb 2017
Top up to £10k - Dec 2018 (with £5400 paying off the remaining on the £5k.
Loan cleared 29th April 2019
49.9% APR
All interest above the loan amount refunded plus 8%.
Thanks

Can I ask how long you waited for final response? I made a complaint on July 10th and I am still waiting, they just keep saying they haven’t made a decision yet.0

There could be delays due to covid.Normal responce time is 8 weeks, after which you can escalate to the FOS if you wish.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
