Husband will turn 70 in late October, we are both retired so at home all day, just the two of us, and his birthday falls on a Monday.
We have adult kids and grandkids who live nearby and they will arrange a family meal in the evening as my husband is definitely not a party animal!
I need ideas what to do for him in the daytime though as I don't want him just sitting in front of the TV all day. Can't take him out for lunch as we will have the family meal in the evening, and mobility issues mean a nice walk is out. Can't book a holiday due to present conditions with the virus.
PLEASE does anyone have any ideas? We are in Liverpool and been married for 50 years if that is relevant. Thanks!

Could you contact lots of your friends and ask them to email short video greetings, which you could sit and watch together?
Or get the Liverpool edition of Monopoly, and sit and play a game of that?1 -
Is there a museum you could take him to - somewhere connected to his working life? You may be able to borrow a wheelchair so he doesn't have to walk around. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

Thanks CJ and tacpot 12. He does love the museum but takes the younger grandkids there all the time so it wouldn't be a treat for him really. Men are so hard to buy for at the best of times but he is really difficult!

Here are some ideas that you might be able to print off
This page if you look thro the drop down on left- somehow!- I managed to put my birthday and up came a list of events. It's worth looking round this site as it seems to be a hobby. There are various 'wallpapers' you can down load etc

Here you can order free e-cards , but also I think there are prints etc. Again a site to explore:

Hope there might be something!
I also remember finding magazine cover images for friends- mainly women's magazines. Google might be your friend here!!

Have you been in the Walker Art Gallery? We didn’t think art would be our thing but turned right as we went in the main door & were blown away by the statues. Spent ages in there.
would've . . . could've . . . should've . . .
