Can somebody clarify 'default balance'

Hi,
So long story short, I have been waiting for my creditors to default my accounts before starting my self-managed DMP. Have not had anything in the post in terms of default notices with dates etc.
I have just logged in to credit karma and credit wise and can see that on some of my accounts where there has 4 missed payments, there is a balance number and also a 'default balance' number. There is no default date shown.
On the accounts that have 3 months missed payments, there is no 'default balance', only the account balance.

Does this mean on the accounts where it shows the default balance, I have actually been defaulted? even though I have received nothing in the post apart from the usual 'please bring your account up to date' type of letters.

I always though the credit agencies were a bit slow in updating so I find it hard to believe that my creditors have defaulted me. Though I would be chuffed if they have as I can finally start the ball rolling on my DMP.

Has anyone else had these 'default balances' added to their files?

TIA
Frank

Despite being defaulted at a given balance, that balance can change if payments are made or other credits applied or charges removed, the default balance just means the balance at the point at which the default was issued.
So I would assume its defaulted, yes, although the date should be shown on your file, bit confusing.

    Hi Sourcrates.

This is a picture of what is on my file. There are a few like this. Also had a email from credit karma that a DCA had performed a hard search on my file, checked it and it was Moorcroft. So looks like the balls is starting to roll.
