Brilliant! So pleased for you to now have a working shower, even if you do have to run an extension lead for the moment to use it. Hopefully the electrician will turn up tomorrow to do the plug so you won't have to use the extension!

Absolutely! I've had a shower this evening and it was honestly heaven!
I've not felt this clean in ages- my skin literally feels different.
I've not heard anything from the electrician this afternoon so I doubt he'll rock up tomorrow but if it takes them another 3 years of me nagging them to wire in a plug and me having to run an extension lead across the hall it's a significant improvement from yesterday!

Made the sweet and sour sauce ready for dinner tonight. Really good recipe I've found;
Put all the following ingredients together into a pan
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 cup of pineapple juice (I use the juice from a big tin of pineapple rings- cheaper and then you have pineapple you can add to the recipe as well)
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 drops red food colouring (optional- it's orange if you don't and red if you do-tastes the same either way)
Put the saucepan on a low heat and stir it every so often whilst it comes to the boil.
Whilst this happens mix 1.5 tablespoons of cornflour with enough water to turn it into a thin paste (usually about 5 tablespoons)
When the pan starts boiling- add the cornflour mix and continue to boil for another minute.
If any cornflour has turned to lumps you can strain it through a sieve to remove them.
Literally can be served straight away. Apparently if you put it in an airtight container then It'll last for 3 weeks in the fridge- but so far we've only managed to keep it until the next day!
Very impressed with how tasty it is. NomBottom line;

Turns out my MIL hadn't given my husband any money towards the sprog's switch games - She gave him £100 yesterday and he's s transferred me the full amount as I've been the one buying the switch stuff. So I've taken £40 back into my spending account for the amount I spent on animal crossing. Ive also just picked up scribblenauts which she loved on her friend's switch for £10 on eBay. Gives me £50 left to pick up a couple more games. Going to review and think about what games she'd like.Bottom line;

What about Luigi's Mansion 3? We got that recently and I loved it. Also you can play it co-op which is good for having friends round (but it's also perfectly playable solo)2
