Hi,

I joined last week and quite enjoying the discussions I have been involved in.

However I logged on today and can see that my username has been changed, why?

Can any mods or anyone advise please?

Thanks

I'm actually wondering if it's because someone has objected to your original user name...

Yes I thought about that later as well, I wonder what the OP original name was.

Indeed. Such atrocious spelling shouldn't be allowed.

I don't understand how my username could be offensive? In my culture it is a word for being taken aback / surprised.
    So what is the issue?

If it does indeed mean what you say I would surmise somebody has, like me, assumed it's a mis-spelling of a very similar word from the same culture that means something not so inoffensive and reported it.

    Op:
Your name may have been misunderstood and branded offensive?
perhaps some people have read some links like these? LOL
