The Competition may be available on multiple occasions from Monday to Friday at the discretion of the Promoter. Each subsequent Competition will open on the Opening Time and close on the Closing Time for entries on the dates as advertised on the Website.You must complete your entry before the closing date and Closing Time of the Competition. If you are part way through your entry when the Competition closes you will not be able to complete your entry and you will not have entered the Competition.How to enter:To enter the Competition, visit the Website and follow the instructions. You will need to register or log on to the Website before you enter the Competition.The Competition has two (2) stages:Stage 1: Question RoundYou will have forty (40) seconds to answer five (5) quiz questions (“Quiz”). Once your 40 seconds runs out or you have answered all five (5) questions (whichever comes first) the Promoter will calculate how many questions you answered correctly. You will only be able to attempt the Quiz once per Competition.If you answered all five (5) questions correctly within the forty (40) second time limit, you will be entered into a prize draw (“Prize Draw”) to win the Prize.If you answer any of the questions incorrectly or fail to select five (5) answers within the forty (40) second time limit, you will not be entered into the Prize Draw.Please note that once you begin the Quiz, you cannot cancel or pause your Competition entry.You should ensure that you have an adequate internet connection before entering the Competition. If you lose your internet connection, close or refresh your browser, or click ‘Back’ between starting the Competition and submitting your answer to the question, you will not be entered into the Competition, you will not be able to start your entry again.Please note that data charges may apply (check with your internet service provider or mobile network).Stage 2: Prize DrawAll entrants who answer all five (5) questions correctly at Stage 1 will be entered into a Prize Draw to win the Prize.If no eligible entries are made for the Prize Draw by the close date, the Prize Draw will not take place and the Prize will not be awarded to any entrant.Winner selection and contact:The draw will take place shortly after the Competition closes.Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions:
- the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the first prize;
- the second entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will in the second prize; and
- the third entry from all eligible entries will win the third prize.
By entering the Competition, you confirm the following:- You are 18 years or over and are a UK Resident;
- You do not work for and are not related to anyone who works for ITV;
- You have read and accept these Win O’Clock Quiz competition terms and conditions;
- You have read and accept the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions; and
- If you win, the Promoter may include and/or announce on the Website, on social media platforms and/or elsewhere at its discretion your name and county as in the form indicated by you on the entry page, details of the prize that you have won and/or correct answers you gave. This is in addition to the Promoter’s rights under clause 9.5 of the General Terms.
The winners will be contacted by SMS within two (2) working days of the Competition in accordance with ITV’s General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions. The winners will be able to see their prize in their account on the Website. The winners must redeem their prize within twenty-eight (28) days of winner contact. If the winners fail to redeem their prize within twenty-eight (28) days of winner contact, the prize will be forfeited.Cost of entry:Entry to the Competition is free. Data charges may apply (check with your internet service provider or mobile network).Maximum number of entries:One (1) entry per mobile phone number per Competition.Prize:The first prize consists of £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds), the second prize consists of £150 (one hundred and fifty pounds) and the third prize consists of £50 (fifty pounds) (each “Cash Prize”).To claim any Cash Prize, go to the ‘Profile’ link at the top of the Website and click ‘Cash Prize’. You can then redeem the Cash Prize in the following ways:1.Transfer to your PayPal account: ITV will pay the Cash Prize into your PayPal account. To do this, choose the PayPal option and follow the simple steps. You can use a pre-existing PayPal account or create a new one. The Cash Prize balance in your ITV Win Account will be set to zero and the money will appear in your PayPal account within forty-eight (48) hours. For further information please go to https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-receive-money-with-my-paypal-account-faq1664.2.Claim at local Post Office: you can pick up your Cash Prize from your local Post Office. To do this, choose the ‘Claim at Local Post Office’ option and follow the simple steps. You will receive a text message with a unique reference code (“Barcode”) within two working days from claiming. Go to any UK Post Office and present the Barcode to receive your prize. The Barcode will expire ninety (90) days after receiving it (“Expiry Date”). If you do not redeem your Barcode before the Expiry Date, the Cash Prize will be forfeited and you will not be able to redeem your Cash Prize. The Cash Prize balance in your ITV Win Account will be set to zero as soon as this option is selected.3.Convert a portion of the Cash Prize into Entry Credits: you will be able to convert up to ten pounds (£10) of your Cash Prize into Entry Credits when you claim your prize. You may choose from three (3) conversion options: (i) convert £2 for one (1) Entry Credit; (ii) convert £5 for three (3) Entry Credits; or (iii) convert £10 for seven (7) Entry Credits. You will not be able to convert your Cash Prize to Entry Credits if you already have ten (10) or more Entry Credits in your Account. Your Entry Credits will be the default method for payment when entering into any online paid competition on the Website. Any remaining Cash Prize sum will then need to be withdrawn using the PayPal or Post Office options above.If you are experiencing any issues with your prize redemption via PayPal or Post Office, please contact via email the ITV’s customer service team at itvihelp@itv.com, who will respond to assist with the issue.
