I'm clearing my loft out and I've come across a box of vinyl singles and EPs from the fifties and sixties. Where is the best place to sell them as a job lot? I don't want to list each one individually for sale. Some of them may be worth something and others may be of little value.

There is a shop about 25 miles away but they're very picky about what they buy.

Yes, I've looked at ebay but the prices they sell for are very variable. For instance I have the original Rolling Stones ep but haven't checked yet whether it's a first pressing. Some sell for £5 and others sell for £12. I have found a site called eil.com so I'll give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say.

Try comparing what you have , to titles listed on Discogs.com. Its a collectors / buy / sell website - it may be useful.
Just to note, collectors can be really fussy over marks however slight, and also releases by big / well known groups (Beatles / Stones etc..) although famous, a lot of which were then produced in mass quantities, so may not be rare or worth much, even though old - but on the other hand, you may have something unique or rare. You could just list the lot as a collection on ebay, or even Shpock to save any hassle. I am currently sorting out records to finally let go, and have found these useful. Hope this helps.0
