Oops haven't posted for almost a week, there's nothing much to report, just limping on towards payday and work has been particularly challenging this week.

I've got £10.70 left in my bank account and some change in my purse so should make it to payday without having to dip into savings  :)

£81.50 bonus has been added to the LISA and it's now getting 80p interest daily :)

I finally hit the points needed to cash out for 0nepoll so £25 is on its way to me, also cashed out £2.59 from t0pcashback and waiting for money to be available to cash out from PA.

I've booked the car in for the MOT next month and have had the renewal quote from my insurer.  It's gone up by around £90 to roughly £313 so need to do a bit of research to see if it is worth changing insurers.
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks Boodedoo, all is good here :) keep meaning to post but just don't ever seem to get round to it.  The car failed its MOT but just on some bulbs, under £50 to get them sorted so happy with that.

The car has been the main expenditure this month as paid for the MOT, insurance, breakdown cover and parking permit.  Decided to stick with existing insurer as the cheapest I could find it was only about £5 cheaper per year and I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of moving for that.  All covered by the car fund and there's still £368.97 left :) Will start building that back up until I have £1000 again.

Increased food budget seems to working well, not that much left in it now but still have plenty of food and it's almost payday.  Still need to do a budget for next month, won't put as much in savings as the focus will be the festive period.  Have various things planned with OH, friends and family which will be lovely.

Going to try and get in the habit of posting more regularly again.  So today's spend was £8.75 on food.  Transferred £1.25 cashback to the car fund.

pleased the MOT was fairly stress free, really good that your car fund covered everything and still some left over and already added to (every little helps)
Sounds like you will have a very good time during the festive season, always good to spend time with friends and family.
Think I am all set for the festive season here, presents bought and wrapped, though we agreed a long time ago that adults presents were no longer our thing so just the fun sized people to buy for. Haven't done Christmas cards for more years than I can remember, instead we make donations to Shelter and a foodbank which seems more in line with the spirit of things.

Thanks Boodedoo.  I've made a start on Christmas shopping but will really need to brave the town at some point to get it finished.

Yesterday was a NSD.  Today I've spent £6.99 on a new charger for my f!tbit as it seems to have disappeared, have a feeling OH may have accidentally binned it when he was tidying up over the weekend.  Shouldn't have any other spends.

    And it's payday

Added £200 to the flat deposit taking it to £9130.48 and £130 paid off the credit  card so it's now £608.48.

Have now done most of my Christmas shopping, it's just really stocking fillers for OH left to get.

Haha beanie - I should to get it under £600, however all on track to get it paid off before the 0% balance transfer runs out so will leave it be for now.

Have been off on annual leave for the past week and headed down to see family before Christmas.  Had a lovely time and it was great to spend time with everyone, however, have returned with a horrible cold which always seems to happen when I spent time with the kids!

I went out for dinner and drinks last night with friends which cost a fortune but all budgeted for and I had a lovely time.  Feeling surprisingly human today for the amount of alcohol consumed.  Still planning a relatively chilled day before returning to work tomorrow.

Only real plan for today is to pop to the supermarket at some point to get a food shop.

That's the gift that keeps on giving with children :-) My grandsons seem to have permanent colds this time of the year and happily share with Granny!
Nice to spend time with your family and hopefully you'll have some time off over the festive period too.
That credit card debt will soon be a thing of the past and I'm sure you'll find a home for the monthly amount that will give you some interest when its gone. As long as its not costing you atm, its probably a good idea to stick with the plan as its worked so well.
