£100 direct debit went to the credit card today so it's now at 71.1% paid :)

Spends for today were £6 on shampoo, £16.83 on food shopping and £37.89 on @mazon for some items to make OH's life a bit easier - a 2m charging cable for his phone so he doesn't have to bend down, a spill-proof cup for cups of tea and a whiteboard for us to write reminders on.  As his mobility and short-term memory are still poor, hopefully these will help.

I had an email from our energy company today to say that our direct debit is going up by around £56 a month which is annoying but not completely unexpected as we haven't built up that much credit over the summer.

Need to keep a close eye on finances as for the time being, I'm not going to be able to/don't want to do much overtime which will have an impact as my basic salary isn't great and won't cover much beyond the basics.  We'll manage but may not be able to add as much to savings as I would like.  I have agreed to do a couple of short overtime shifts later on in the month which will help.

Working from home tomorrow morning and then heading into work for the afternoon.  I quite like just rolling out of bed and sitting in my pjs doing work.  Means I can get a wee lie in as well.

£5.30 spent today on some supplies for lunches.  OH has requested a fry up for tea tomorrow night, already have bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms so will just need to grab sausages and black pudding tomorrow.

Nothing much else to report from today - did an hour's overtime which will come in useful.

Haha beanie - I love black pudding.  I quite like white pudding too but it's not something I ever buy for some reason.

£6.59 cashback moved to the holiday fund this morning :)

Really need to get moving and go for a shower before work but finding it difficult to motivate myself today.  I've got a 8 am meeting though so I better get a move on!

£9 spent yesterday on sausages, black pudding and tattie scones.  Anything we didn't use has been stashed in the freezer for a future meal.  Need to have a proper sort out of the freezer as don't really know what's in there.

Did a few surveys on PA yesterday so just waiting for the money to become available to cash out.

Not much to report from yesterday, went to meet a friend after work so £5.60 spent on coffee and cake.  Had a nice chat with my gran and arranged to pop in to see her one day through the week.

Day off today which is very much needed, was hoping for a nice day so I could get the bedding washed/line dried and we could go a walk somewhere but unfortunately not, maybe it will dry up later.

It did not dry up, in fact I don't think it has stopped raining all day :(

Went to the supermarket, OH decided to come with me to get out of the flat for a bit which made it a bit spendier than usual - £59.15 spent!!  Not all on food though, £22 on 2 jumpers for OH (money from clothes fund) and £9.50 on a hot water bottle and light bulbs (money from the home fund).

Other than that, have done a bit of cleaning and watching the rugby.  My team is currently losing badly :bawling:

Yep the rain doesn't show any signs of stopping here (West of Scotland) and the river we can see from our window is running fast and furious (thankfully a good hundred feet or so below our property so not many worries about it affecting us) so our local herons wont have a rock to sit on while they catch their lunch for a while - which is a shame as its one of my favourite things to sit and watch from my window :-)
Daughter just sent me a pic of someone on a jet ski thing  ( no idea what the correct terminology is) happily zooming along the floods on a residential road in their village!

And as for the Rugby I wont offer an opinion, I usually root for (any) underdog, but not those who don't play ( even when they are desperate) within the spirit of the game :-(

Yep I can understand people getting frustrated with the match not going their way but there's no need for it to turn into a brawl!  The view from your window sounds lovely Boodedoo but glad you're not at risk of being flooded.  We're in north east Scotland and the rain has finally stopped, hopefully will be a nicer day tomorrow.

Off for an early night as I've got one of my overtime shifts tomorrow.
