7.3 kW Bi Facial Rooftop Panels: ~7 year ROI: Fact OR fiction?

New high for the bifacial system today. 9.86 kWh on a somewhat cloudy day (as seen the graph below). Pretty confident it will exceed 11kWh on a clear winter day based on this.

Your post encouraged me to fix my wifi issue and read the output of my inverters. On the same day as you generated 9.86 kWh, I generated the princely amount of 3.3

A couple interesting statistics:

- It took just 17 days in February to exceed total power generation for the preceding 31 day month.

-  Of those 17, 6 days have had generation of 8 kWh or greater (aka double O’s), taking average yield well in excess of 4 kWh per day in Feb.

- Total power generation is 250 kWh since commissioning on 11/12/19, of which 138 kWh has been exported to the grid (@ £5.38 per kWh)

That is good going! But I do think you mean £0.0538 per kWh, unfortunately?
(If not, I want to buy the house off you, with the LG panels and the ongoing contract included....)

Finished up the 28 days of February exactly at 150 kWh, a > 50% increase over January 2020 (97 kWh), at an average generation of 5.4 kWh per day.

Hiya. Any gut feelings yet on how these panels are performing? I'm guessing it's too early since install, and too early in the year, but just wondering. I'm trying to move forward on my small PV extension, and see these panels are OK'ish priced, and sold as best used on boats (due to white background), or as you've done, with a white reflective paint, but 4 panels at 400Wp (500Wp theory) straddle my inverters max DC input, that's to say 1,600Wp is fine, but 2,000Wp is just a bit over ........ first world problems eh!

It is a bit early in the year but I have tried to share actual numbers from the system on this thread. 

They aren’t overpriced for what they offer and I would go for them again. That said, I expect them to routinely exceed 10 kWh when the sun gets higher later in the year.

I spoke too soon. The system hit 14.29 kWh today, which blows the previous high out of the water. Also a new peak power generation at 2.71 kWh just before noon. I am now increasingly confident the system is capable of hitting a Quad O i.e. 16 kWh on the right day.
