Dishwasher tablets won't dissolve.

I have a lot of dishwasher tablets that won't dissolve when I use them. I no longer have the container that they came in so I don't have any instructions. They have blue, white and green stripes, and come in a clear plastic wrapper (which I remove before putting them into the dishwasher). The wrapper has the name "Robert McBride Ltd." on it.

I don't think that the problem is with my dishwasher, as it works well with other types of tablets. So should I just throw these problem ones away?

Actually I'll try running the dishwasher at a higher temperature next time. It's only on 50C at the moment. Maybe that's the problem.

I'm using some old Finish tablets I found when we moved, they work fine at 50C.

Whereabouts are you putting them? If higher temperature doesn't help, perhaps trying them in a different location would -- cutlery basket?

I ran a wash today at 65C with one of these tablets and it seemed to work well, so I guess that was the problem.
