Qualification equivalents in today's market

Hi
After leaving school in 1985, I went onto college for 2 years where I studied a Secretarial Linguist Course. At the time, we were advised the course was equivalent to A levels and I was awarded a Diploma certificate by the college covering shorthand, typing, audio, wp, french, spanish and communications. Exam boards were RSA Stage III (Advanced) Typewriting, LCCI Shorthand, Audio and Use of English and the language side evades me as can't find certificates. Unfortunately, no where does it mention A levels and no one seems to know equivalents! Does anyone know what these qualifications are equivalent to in today's market or where I can find the information as Google just brings up courses to study today
?
I also have a Diploma in Airline and Travel Studies which I studied at Greenwich School of Management - university business education but again they cannot tell me what equivalents are today but can study today's courses:mad:. At the time (1998) it was sold as a post graduate course - this covered Air Travel Levels 1, 2 & 3, Galileo 'Viasinc' CRS, Travel Studies and OAG Guides as well as City & Guilds ABTAC Primary Level - Written - again any info on equivalents would be much appreciated. Trying to apply for jobs which are asking for A Levels or equivalents - nightmare.

As a mature job seeker, not one straight out of school / college / uni the GCSE / A level requirements don't tend to apply as it's experience they look for on your CV.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

I don't think RSA III was ever an A-level equivalent - for university entrance purposes RSA III English was counted as an acceptable alternative to GCSE English - see https://www.york.ac.uk/media/study/courses/undergraduate/health-sciences/GCSEandequivalentqualifications.pdf0

I doubt the course that you say was equivalent to post graduate actually is because to study at that level you would typically need a bachelors degree.
Although I could be wrong but doesn’t seem right.0
