Would some of you experienced peeps mind casting an eye over this and giving us some feedback? This is for a family of 5:
Income
OH's Salary: £1023
Working Tax Credit: £114
Housing Benefit: £86
Purple_piglet's contribution to household exp's: £400
(this is from my Child Tax Credit, I also have CHB in my name but that pays for my catalogue payments, C/card, Sky, my mobile, etc)
Total Income: £1623
Expenditure
Rent: £500
Petrol: £173 (high I know, but that's just OH travelling to & from work and a pop to the local supermarket at the weekend)
Car insurance: £32
AA: £12
Council Tax: £110
Gas/Electric: £75
Landline & broadband: £25
Mobile: £15
Contents Insurance: £13
Pet Insurance: £14
Car Tax: £17
Clothing & Footwear: £65
School trips: £15
Dentist/optician: £10
Car servicing/repairs: £10
Hairdressing: £10
Food & Housekeping: £476
Water: £32
TV Licence: £12
Total expenditure: £1621, leaving us a £2 PCM surplus.
Does this look OK? Have we missed anything obvious? Thanks in advance....
