Challenge tru's house

I've made some salt dough tree ornaments - stars, trees and bells. I remembered to make a hole for ribbon before baking them
They're a bit rough on some of the edges so I'm going to sandpaper them. I need to buy some gold and silver spray paint, maybe some glitter too - I'll see what they're like with just the paint, then decide.
I haven't been planning as much as I'd like cos mr tru's been off work all week - just having someone else in the house, even if they're in another room, seems to stop me from what I'm doing
I'll be buying lots of small pots next week, ready for my tomato adventureI want to make little info tags for the plants too, so I'll have to find the best way of doing those. I know it's a bit early, but I like to plan and plan and plan so I'm 100% sure I'm ready and know what I'm doing

Another money saving use for my kitchen.Away with the fairies.... Back soon0 -
I sprayed a couple of my decs, I'm not happy with them though :undecided The colours are 'antiquey', I really wanted 'fun and funky' My camera batteries are flat, when they're charged up I'll post a pic.
Mr tru seems quite keen on the idea of pet boarding :j We're wondering whether to start soon (march/april next year, maybe?) or wait til we've got a smallholding (should be able to afford one in about 5 years) :think:Bulletproof0 -

Start now, especially if you are home enough to look after the animals. Get all the registrations etc up front, and put everything you make from pet boarding straight into a savings account for buying the smallholdingIf you have room already, some people might want to board their pets over the xmas period! Also, it will take some time to get going so even if you advertise in January it might take until March before you get a boarder.

There are bound to be people looking now for Christmas boarding who haven't booked yet and a lot of places will have been full since September - I have to book our kennels for July/ August the previous December to even stand a chance of a place.
Good luck.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
