Student struggling with loan

Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone knows any loopholes besides the one that’s already failed. I’m going through the process of getting Invisalign with my Othodontist after previously having nhs braces of which results didn’t last however we’ve found a hurdle, because I’m a student I apparently can’t put my name down for the finance side of things and from what I can tell it’s basically a loan given to the Othodontist practice and I pay them off rather than the Othodontists we came up with putting my parents name down with my bank details so I’d be paying even tho I’m a student although my mum was rejected and the rest of my family are also students so I have no other names to put down. anyone have any ideas because I need these braces to look better (I’m an actor so important I don’t cringe at my teeth watching everything back) and to stop accidentally biting my tongue because one of my front teeth were pushed right back thanks to wisdom teeth 😂

Have a procedure that doesn't cost the insane price of Invisalign.

Did you actually try and pass your bank account off as your mothers? :undecided

I'm not surprised it was rejected.

Would be quite interesting to see if a CIFAS marker for first party fraud ends up being tagged onto their credit file for trying to do that. They'll have no worries then about being able to apply for a loan because they'll be rejected outright by every lender as soon as the check reveals the marker.

  • Why did you not get it sorted before you were 19 ? The only things I can think of is working part time for a charity that gives you Health shield or similar budget medical insurance , no one will give you BUPA just yet! or do a gap year in Australia and getting it funded on Medicare,

Work and save up. I'm no expert but how would the invisible braces work differently to NHS ones? Isn't it just that they don't look as obvious? If the NHS ones 'didn't work' how will these work?
I'm just wondering if you take appearance out the equation you could find a cheaper option?

on the health and beauty board, find the user toothsmith, and ask them for a proper dental opinion.

As a student, how do you intend to service the debt if you have no income?
